Immigration Psychological Evaluations in Maryland
Psychological Immigration Evaluations
I’m trained to provide in-depth, confidential psychological evaluations to support USCIS applications. I have over 10 years of experience completing forensic evaluations and working special populations and attorneys.
My focus is on:
- Capturing the uniqueness of challenges clients endured and the impact it has on their & family mental health.
- Identifying the hardships that clients will face upon separations with their family
- Utilizing various tools to include in-depth interview, risk assessments, & DSM-5 to effectively evaluate client’s current mental state.
Did you know?
Immigration evaluations have been useful in depicting the client’s mental health concerns, life threatening conditions, the impact of deportation, and the support in advocating for families to stay together. Many clients who added a mental health evaluation are more likely to have their case approved (While there’s no guarantee, there’s been an increase in approvals).
I utilize a collaborative approach working with clients and their attorney to obtain necessary information to complete a comprehensive evaluation. Evaluations consist of at least 2-3 meetings (In-person & Virtual) w/ an interpreter present if client is not fluent in English, a review of assessments, and summary of its finding. The evaluation report varies in length and is completed with a few weeks (Rush evaluations can be provided upon request).
